Next, we tackled the baby items and nursery. Months ago, my SIL Melissa had sent home about 3-4 car loads full of baby clothes, equipment, and necessities. We basically unloaded everything upstairs in the game room and left it to be dealt with another time. Well, that time had come! We did around 6-8 loads of baby laundry and put it all away. We also organized the spare bedroom upstairs to store anything we wouldn't need right away. Curtains were hung in the nursery, compliments of Grammy and Daddy Shawn. (I will post pictures of the nursery as soon as we get some things on the wall -- soon!) We weren't able to get everything done in one day, so we worked all afternoon today as well. I can't tell you how much better I feel now that a big chunk of those things are done. And I have my wonderful mother to thank! I only hope I am half the mom to Blake that my mom has been to me! I am blessed beyond belief!!!

Blake Alexis Kirby Week 29 Update:
Your baby's the size of an acorn squash! Baby's energy is surging, thanks to white fat depositing beneath his skin. And since he's growing so fast (weight will triple by birth), things are getting kind of cramped in the womb. What all this means for you: Get ready for some more kicks and jabs to the ribs.
